I'm assuming everyone got the same e-mail I did from Kisha, for those of you who didn't or just don't check your e-mails, here's what it said:
"With my current time commitments and other obligations I think I have to face the fact that I can no longer keep Staghorn running. Rather than subject the site to the slow painful death of inactivity I will be closing the forum on the 13th of August. Please collect any information you may need from the site by then.
Kisha-Ra"
First off I'm pretty sure most members (the ones who all disappeared for no reason while I was gone) won't even read that e-mail, and even if they do, they won't see this thread, because the site will be closed by the time they finally decide to actually read their e-mails.
I just wanted to say that I'm gonna miss you guys. I'll see unclesam, boboo and free on my forum all the time, but most of you I only know off this place, so once it's closed you're not gonna see me much anymore.
I also wanted to say how disappointed I am. I've spent a good deal of time updating old characters, and making up new ones just so I can RP here again. Before now I've always disappeared for some reason or another, but now I'm finally back for good, this place closes down. I'm also annoyed with the majority of the members here, who couldn't be bothered to come back to this place, and for some reason, very grateful to the ones who, like me, checked back here every day in the hopes that the site would be active again.
For the past year or so, there have been two forums that I came back to almost every day. My forum, the Mighty Marvel Men, and this place. Those are the only two places where I consider myself an active member, and now one of those is gone.
I just really hope that Kisha will change her mind and keep the place open. I've got some ideas for how we could keep the place open, but I'm not sure Kisha will like any of them. Still, I'm really gonna miss this place.
